I'd like to propose that the Spotted Duck be added to the Canadian Conservancy list.

They responded that they haven't had a request for them as yet and gave me a heck of a questionnaire to fill, including numbers, statistics, how many breeders etc.

Google gives me not much at all, so I'm asking here, if you are interested in supporting this could you please let me know?

thanks, Aurelia

Not sure what you mean - whether it's native or not?

Mamanaturale - if you know of breeders in your area you could let me know of them. Who knows, someone may have shipped to Canada? Emails are better, I can't run up my phone bill for this too badly!

I realize they are not native to Canada, but many poultry and waterfowl being kept and bred are not in their country of origin. They are hard to find, considered rare, so adding to the list will help improve contact information among breeders and buyers.

I have two trio's but I think they are crossed with call duck. Not sure though but bought them as aussie spots.
