Came up with an interesting method of hanging my heat lamps

Set up two XL rubbermaid totes as brooders today to separate the chicks and ducks. They are in a storage room about 4 feet wide. I bought one of those shower curtain tension rods, set it at the height I wanted and locked it in place. Now I can raise the lights as needed each week and not try to rig something up. *they are attached by another rope to an anchor point higher up in case the rod lets loose*

Very neat and tidy!! Where are the secondary safety lines for the heat lamps? Maybe they were installed after the pics were taken?

yup, put them in after. i was too excited to take pics. that's why i made a note of it above.....figured everyone would mention that first.
