I have a couple standard golden campine hens. I will take a pic in a little bit. I love the way they look. They are very sweet but prefer not to be handled. They get skittish when you reach for them but they will follow you every where. They lay 5-6 days out of every week. Very good layers when they are laying. Mine stopped for a few months in the winter. They lay beautiful white eggs.

I have only had one....a rooster (or actually still a cockerel when something killed him [IMG] ) and he was wonderful. Sweet natured, but not the cuddly type. He was gorgeous and good to his girls. He has been dearly missed!!!

Quote:[IMG] Lol! I had one that did that! My Jack Russell chased him into the path of my other dog and he just laid down like he was already dead! They had no intentions of hurting him, just wanted to chase! Fortunately, he survived and decide that he wasn't dead after I went and picked him up! And now the dogs no longer chase my babies!
