Can 3 month Pullets eat laying mash with their older sisters?

ayer often has less protein but always more calcium.
:thumbsup:highfive:
the hens eat laying mash in the coop and the pullets/cockerels (pockerels?) still eat grower? Also, our hens are laying eggs about 2/3rds the size of normal eggs.
Make sure the egg layer feed is high in protein. The early calcium won't hurt the 3 m/o's. But like iggy said, some layer feeds are lower protein than others- meaning your young need HIGH protein for maximum growth and layers need high protein (with calcium) for ehh production. BTW some breeds lay medium size eggs. If I get super massive eggs, most likely it was laid by my RIR's, med to semi large- wyandottes etc..
Low carbs and high protein is a good combination for growth and eggs-
