Hi, I have 3 dominecker's that I cannot determine gender of. Can anyone help me by looking at the photos? All 3 look the same, so I either have 3 hens or 3 roosters. They all hatched in April of this year, so they are roughly 4 months old. (I know the gender of my rhode island reds, just having trouble with the dominque's.)

    Any help appreciated!

A photo of each bird would help, but they all look like roosters to me.

I see saddle feathers of a rooster in the first picture on 2 of them. So they are roosters.

Going from how they appear on my screen, all roosters. They are more white than black.

These were two of mine several weeks ago. The hen is in the bottom left and darker. The rooster is in the center. Yours look like the rooster to me. Also, my hen doesn't have near that large of comb or wattles now - she was hatched April 30.

Thanks all! I have been afraid they might all be roosters. The man I got them from said they were pullets, but I started having doubts as they have gotten larger. I bought 9 chicks from him, 6 rhode island reds, and 3 domineckers, and 6 of the 9 have turned out to be roosters. I thought I bought '9 pullets', so I am a wee bit disappointed and not sure what to do with all these roosters now.

given my ancient eyes and the small image, I'm guessing that all 3 are boys. Individual side profile shots of each bird would be helpful. You might want to post your pics on the Dominique thread.

Sorry for the small images, I thought it would make them larger if they are clicked on. But, I am new here so I might have done it wrong. :)
