Can anyone help me figure out the breed of these chicks?

  1. So a month or two ago I rescued 2 chicks from a daycare center, at that time they were around 4-5 weeks old

I don't know for sure what breed they are or wether they are Roos or hens, any help would be very helpful

They aren't the best pictures I know, I think the black one is a barred rock? Hen?
The brown one I think might be a mix and I have no idea if it's a roo or hen

Both are hens. Closer pictures would be better, but the barred is either a Plymouth Rock, a Dominique, or a Cuckoo Marans. Rose comb means Dom, whereas single comb indicates Plymouth Rock or Marans. The brown is most likely a beardless Easter Egger, based on those willow/slate(?) legs.

  3. The black one does have a rose comb i think it's still kinda small, and the brown one does have dark/greenish legs. I will get some better pictures in a few days. Thanks for the input! :)

This is a photo of them from about a month ago
