Hi there, everyone! I was at Jamestown (Virginia) last week, and I saw this beautiful hen scratching away. If she's an established breed, I'd love to find one for myself. I think she's just beautiful. I have a friend who has more knowledge about chickens in her pinkie finger than I'll probably have in my entire lifetime, and she didn't recognize the breed--she suggested she's a mixed-breed. Any thoughts?

The variety is buff columbian. Not sure what all largefowl breeds they are available in. Mine are bantam brahmas. Your girl is definitely not that; no ffot feathering, incorrect leg colour and body type. I cannot tell from the photo what kind of comb she has.

I see NOTHING to indicate EE.

She had a single comb. And what does "EE" indicate? Thanks, Kerry
