can anyone sex week old silkies from feathers?

I sometimes have trouble sexing six month old silkies.

Are all silkies feathers the same on the wings...

Wing feathers may vary in 'silkiness' depending upon the quality/genetics of the bird, but to the best of my knowledge silkies can not be 'feather sexed'.
