can anyone tell me what they are in english please?

    i just picked up a lovely little group of hollandsehoen zilverpel chickens
    they look just like little magpies(!) apparantly originate from england but they guy didnt know their english name. they are the bantam kind not the large ones. not a usualy comb...cant remeber th name but its like a horn that faces backwards and lies flat along the top of the head.
    will try and get a camera to take pics but dont have one right now with me [​IMG]

    Wow! I'm not knowledgeable about breeds of chickens, but I just wanted to say, that Rooster is absoletly awesome!!

    Yes for sure Hamburg, they come in bantam also. These did start in England.

    Why's an English chicken called Hamburg thought that was in Germany;)

    maybe the person who name them ,was from hamburg. Who knows.......or maybe they like hamburgers...[​IMG]

    Silver Spangled is what we call that variety of Hamburg.
