can barred rocks be sexed as day olds???

Don't give up just yet. I have learned to sex BR thanks to Speckledhen's postings and have been very accurate. But I have one that didn't follow the rules this time. Below is a pic of my BR pullet on the right. Notice her large spot. I thought for sure they gave me a roo. Then I notice the dark legs. She is 4 wks and has dark feathering.

yah 28/35 roos was from 1 breed! I cant even begin to tell how bad it was with all the other breeds I was hatching. sad Fall for sure around here when it came time to process!
