Can button quail live in hay?

    If I put hay in a quails cage can they live in it??

    Oh yes, a lot of people put lots of hay in button pens, it gives them something to hide in [​IMG]

    Okay thanks! [​IMG] I'll get pics too. I had quail before and I put hay in there and they both died..(idk why...) [​IMG] I love my little cuties!

    Make sure the hay doesn't have mold in it. That would not be healthy for their respiratory systems.

    No,they are just in a little cage...my dad is building them a BBBIIIIGGG cage,

    Well it looks like you have even numbers of each sex (there are 8, right?), so you shouldn't have any trouble pairing them off [​IMG]

    Let me rephrase, I can't tell what the white one is, but the others look like 3 girls and 4 boys [​IMG]
