can chicken get angel wings likee ducks?

I have a baby chick that is only a few days old and its wing eathers are already sticking out to the side like a duckling with angel wings? can chicks get this too? its not abig deal it is just a black meatie so its not important just wondering for future reference

Yes - they do - I have a hen that has a very mild case. I went ahead and hatched a couple of her eggs and one of the offspring has it. It showed as soon as the chick was dry after hatching.

I consider it a genetic problem and was using this hatch as a test. So i don't plan to wrap the chick to try to "correct" the problem.

The hen will be removed from my breeding pen and allowed to run with the free range group.
