    yes........ I tell all my DIL they have to bring GRANDBABIES to my house to babysit because I cannot leave the baby chicks .....or....I need to turn the eggs .. or I have to lock the henhouse up ... or let them out ...

    YES chickens can be used as an excuse for almost anything..
