Can Chickens Get Nose Bleeds?

I picked up my Polish hen today and noticed what looked like a small bit of dried blood on/in her nostril. I also saw a small streak of dried blood on her crest near her nostril. Could she have hit her beak on something or have had a nosebleed? She's fine otherwise and I have seen nothing else...

Yes, she could have given herself a small scrape. I have never had a chicken with a nose bleed though! I would more likely think it is from something else.....like a small injury.

Most likely she was pecked on her comb and it bled down her face.

She is a Polish, so she doesn't have a comb. She sometimes runs into things, (she can't see well) so maybe she bumped her beak?
