Can Chickens See In Color?

    they see in color. birds also see some ultraviolet colors.

    Yes, they can!

    There's a video on youtube.com of someone clicker training chickens to peck only certain colors. I couldn't find it but you might want to look around. The videos of chickens getting trained are interesting.

    My understanding is that chickens can also see ultraviolet rays better than we can. That is why roos can start to crow in the morning about 45 minutes before daybreak. He can see the sun "come up" before we can.
