Will hurt them to have apple cider vinegar?

My new chicks are a week old today and I have put a little ACV in their water and they are doing fine.

They'll be just fine with the ACV. I've put it in our chicks water, along with a couple cloves of garlic, right from the day one.

Excuse my ignorance, but why ACV and garlic? what is the purpose? And should I be doing that, too??!!??

All of my chicks get vinegar in their water. Does wonders for keeping slime growth down.

ACV and garlic are immune boosters, and also help to prevent worms. Since I don't vaccinate, or use medicated feed, I put about a tsp of ACV and a couple cloves of garlic, per quart of water, to make sure they stay healthy.

Cool, I'll put a bit of garlic in there as well. I will say the little guys are growing so fast :) Especially the meaties.
