Can Chicks Eat Duck/Waterfowl Starter?

I have a baby duck and baby chick. I bought medicated chick feed at feed store. Only kind they had- no duck starter. Medicated chick food is supposedly very dangerous for ducks. Could the chick eat duck starter??? It would be very hard to separate them to eat as they are both with a momma hen.

I don't think it would be a problem feeding non-medicated duck starter (which they pretty much all are) to the chick. I just wouldn't feed the medicated chick starter the the duck. I guess in theory the new medicine they use, Am____ something, is OK for ducks, but I've seen conflicting posts about that on here.

Duck starter is higher in protein than chick starter and has more vitamins. But, it shouldn't be a problem, especially short term.
