Can chicks eat whole grapes?

Do I need to cut grapes before feeding them to my chickens like you would a toddler? Is age a determining factor? Mine are 3 months old.

I wouldn't think so. Mine kinda stab them with their beaks and bash them on things (when they're not chasing each other for them) or peck them on the ground. Nobody swallows them whole.

I feed mine whole grapes with no issues.

I gave them some small ones as an experiment and they were fine. They pecked at them and tore them apart, like they do everything else.
