Can cochins be feather sexed????

    I was wondering if standard cochins can be feather sexed/??? Also if you can tell at 2.5 weeks old if one can be a roo????

    Dont know about standards, but in my bantams I can usually get a pretty good guess at 3 weeks the combs are much redder and a little bigger on the cockerels. The cockerels are always the last to get their back feathers in also.

    Thanks. I have one full bred cochin and one mix from my cochin pair and one from one other hen in the yard.

    I will be posting next week a pic of them.

    The full blood cochin has lots of feathers coming in. Even one the neck area.
