can coturnix and california quails live together??

i have two coturnix quails gender unknown ( one makes a brrrr noise everytime i get close and has a white throat, and the other one makes a cricket/frog sound) *any ideas??

* sooo going back to the OQ can get a pair of california quails to live with them??? the habitat that i have the coturnix in is 4+ feet wide, 6feet long, and 3 high

I would never mix quail species. Colorations is different but Coturnix and Calfs are very different birds overall.

As a general rule different speces (not colors, speces) of quail and most other game birds DO NOT MIX WELL...
