    hi,

Can foxes climb over fences. They climb trees, so I assume they can climb over fences.

Does this mean I would have to have a roof on my chicken run?

    thanks

Fox, particularily greys, are very capable of climbing fences. A cover of some type, solid roof or mesh, is the only way to insure that fox don't climb over your fence.

Oh yeah..they certainly can climb!!..Several years ago I had personal experience with it..couldn't believe it when I heard the rukus, walked outside..and saw it go up over, grab a hen and up, over and out..all the while I am yelling and threatening with the yard rake!!..Didn't scare him/her at all. It was in early Spring and I believe it was a female..probably with kits.
