Can I add my 4 weeks old chicks to my 6 weeks old chicks. The 6 weeks old chicks are in a large coop. The 4 weeks old are still in the garage with the heat lamp on at night. Would really like to move them into the coop. What do you think. Should I wait?

What are low temps outside? And what are temps at night in the garage without the added heat?

Assuming standard, healthy chicks, most likely the 4 week olds can go out but I'd want to have them fully off heat first unless temperatures in the garage and out are pretty close.

I have a group of 11 that range from 4-6 weeks, and no issues. I think if they were older it would be more of a problem. When they get introduced to the main flock is when I'd be a lot more cautious.
