I have a sick chicken, it is sneezing. She has been in with the rest of the flock and I am not sure if any others are sick. I gave her a shot of Tylan50 and was wondering if I should still eat the eggs from my flock? The one I am treating is not laying eggs and hasn't for a while so It isn't hers but I am afaid others in the flock might get sick and just want to make sure it is ok to be eating the eggs. I don't want to get my family sick, Please help! Thanks

It is not a good idea to eat the eggs of any diseased bird. I would wait to see if the others become symptomatic...

  3. Are you sure she's really sick? She might just be sneezing because of dust in the air. If she is only sneezing I personally wouldn't have given her anything unless she was showing other symptoms of illness.

    Best of Luck~Ms.B. :)
