Can I eat these eggs?

    I was away for 5 days and returned to find 11 eggs in the coop. 2 were under broody hens. The weather was in the 80s. Are these eggs safe to eat? I have no rooster.

    I would be uncomfortable with them and consider composting or ? placing in a bowl of water and save the ones that sink to cook and feed to the chickens?

    I agree... I wouldn't eat. Sad to throw them away, but 5 days under a broody.. nope.
