Can i expect egg temps to rise

    do to chickster activity in the bator when it's close to hatch date ?
    Oh yeah, i'm hatchin pheasant eggs.18 in a hovabator.

    Developing eggs radiate heat that infertile ones do not. When chicks start to hatch it effects the relative humidity in the incubator which will commonly cause temperature fluctuations in the small incubator.

    Yes they do . I find that the older the eggs get, it affects the temp and humidity.
