I went to the feed store yesterday, and they said that they ran out of gamebird finisher, and it won't be for another 10 days until they re-stock. But they do happen to have gamebird starter (28% protein) and gamebird maintenance (15% protein). I'm trying to feed them birdseed mix (which is 15% protein), but they aren't really eating it, and I don't have much food to offer them besides some treats like fruits and alfalfa sprouts. Sometimes we give them egg. But I don't want them to starve themselves (I know that eventually they'll kinda eat it, but gamebird food really fills their stomachs). So should I get gamebird starter? Or gamebird maintenance? Gamebird starter: ANALYSISPROTEIN 28 % min. FAT 3 % min. FIBRE 6 % max. Gamebird maintenance: ANALYSISPROTEIN 15 % min. FAT 2 % min. FIBRE 10 % max. My youngest quail are around 8 weeks old, and my oldest are 10 months. The bag is 20kg and normally lasts our quail for 4 months. Thanks in advance.
