can i feed four week old chicks a bit of yogurt?

    Yes, they can actually have it much sooner than that. I've seen recommendations to mix it with dry oatmeal for extra yumminess. Mine loved it and it's so fun to watch them try to clean their beaks after they eat it.

    Thanks, I tried a few other types of treats but they didn't seem interested.

    at 4 weeks mine were afraid of every treat I tried them on. Just keep trying and eventually they'll eat it. The yogurt is great with oatmeal mixed in... it gives them something to grab on to while they're trying to figure it out. Now mine know that anything being thrown from my hands is good and they attack it like crazy. When I first fired in a red apple they were terrified like it was going to eat them [​IMG] not long after the whole thing was gone.
