i candled my button quail egg and found some hairline cracks is it okay to cover it with scented candle wax?(it cracked yesterday i just covered it its has been incubated for 13 days when it cracked

does it have to be plain wax? or is scented wax okayVERY carefully drip a little plain white candle Wax on the cracks. If there are several, do one then wait till the wax has cooled then do another. You dont want to cook the kiddo.
