i candled my button quail egg and found some hairline cracks is it okay to cover it with scented candle wax?(it cracked yesterday i just covered it its has been incubated for 13 days when it cracked

VERY carefully drip a little plain white candle Wax on the cracks. If there are several, do one then wait till the wax has cooled then do another. You dont want to cook the kiddo.

Can you post a handling pic so we can see how severe the cracks are?
I really despise candle wax.
Nail polish is the best from my experience for cracked eggs. I've experimented many times, and the only patched eggs that ever hatched were patched with nail polish. Natural nail polish is preferable. I used the piggy paint brand.
