    Hey Guys,

Hope you all are doing fine and enjoying with your hens and roosters.

    Just a quick question,

Can i give Jaggery to my hen and rooster?, my hen's breed is Friesian Fowl

There is winter and the temperature is too low in celcius, the coop is very cool as well, i tried my best to save them from winter but i think i should give some hot things to them like Jaggery but wants senior member's opinions.

    Thank you in advance!

I wouldn't do it. It is primarily sugar so things high in salt or sugar aren't good for chickens.
Chickens don't get cold like you do.
    What are your temperatures specifically?
High energy foodstuffs help raise body temp during digestion in extreme cold. Those would be things like corn, wheat, barley, etc..

    Hello,

    Our weather's temperature is 21C.

What would you suggest to do? Leave them as they are or should i give them some food? and if food, then which? please suggest!

    Thank you!

    21 C ISN'T COLD.
It was -15C here a couple nights ago. The chickens weren't cold. My chickens would think they were in a sauna at that temperature.

For feeding a mixed flock, I recommend a balanced 16-18% protein grower feed. If ALL your birds are laying, I recommend a 16-17% layer feed.

At 30 C, chickens suffer from heat. at 40C chickens start to die.

It's normal here this time of year and much colder. It has been relatively mild so far.
    It is nice today.
In January it can be -25 but fairly unusual.
My buildings have big windows and no heat. The chickens love fresh air.
