I got my first broody! I was thinking of moving it because its in a nestbox thats quite high. She's been in it for a week now, so I am guessing its serious. I gave her 2 fertile eggs to sit on, from a batch thats in my incubator, just to try. I wanted to move her to my little pullet house, its a converted dog house with a little run attached. She would share it with 4 pullets that are 1 month old. The pullets are in the run most of the time. Do you think this can work for the 21 days thats she's brooding?. Once they hatch (IF anything hatches..) I was planning of putting the 4 pullets somewhere else for the time being , not to interfere with the babychicks. Can this work?
