I have a really dark "Blue Wheaten Ameraucana" purchased from a breeder and would like to see if that's what it really is. It had an almost black hour glass shape on it's back. It's 2 wks old now and feathers are mostly dark gray with a TINY bit of light brown and cream color. Does this sound right? Any pics of what he/she might look like full grown? I saw her bumping chests with a mille fleur d'uccle (boy, I think, 1/2 her size) today. Pretty funny! I'm just so surprised that a Wheaten and Blue Wheaten would look so completely different. I got 1 of each. Thanks for any help!
