I would like to sell my eggs locally but i don't know if I need a permit or yearly inspections. Do you need inspections , permits and an actual company to sell eggs locally?

I would check the laws of your state out. Most states have their laws on line.

Check your local CraigsList- I bet other people dont have an egg handlers/food sellers permit. I think it may depend on how you are selling them. Just to friends, co-workers, family? I doubt you'd need anything. If you were selling to a business that sells food, you would need to ask that business what they need to buy your eggs.

Check your local feed stores, they may buy the eggs. Also, go to any local fruit and veggie stands, they may buy from you if they get to know you and your place.
