Can I use a Light Sussex to make a sex link?

    This may be a dumb question.

    Can I use a Light Sussex to make a sexlink? If yes, what breeds do recommend I cross it with to get egg layers?

    Light Sussex hens yes. Light sussex roosters no.

    The hens are silver. So crossing any gold rooster would give you sex links

    I have 6 eggs BLRW Rooster over Light Sussex hens hatching Friday. I should have sex links to show you.
