Can I use a Light Sussex to make a sex link?

Can I use a Light Sussex to make a sexlink? If yes, what breeds do recommend I cross it with to get egg layers?

Light Sussex hens yes. Light sussex roosters no.

The hens are silver. So crossing any gold rooster would give you sex links
