Can mites cause bubbly eyes

So, I've been battling a serious mite infestation.

Well today I noticed one of my girls with bubbly eyes.

I am hoping this isn't MG or some other respiratory issue.

Could the mites have cause this?

Just went out to check on her and the bubbles had cleared on their own

No, mites will not cause bubbly eyes but an irritation from the mite treatment can.
