I am new to Muscovies. Some people say that Muscovy ducks can fly but the drakes cannot. Mine have no interest in flying that I have seen. They are very laid back and do a lot of sitting around. I may just clip one wing on each to be on the safe side/

Yes they can fly but once drakes are older they don't seem to fly nearly as well.

Ducks- yes and well, like clear your home well. Drakes? depends, i have one who can he's 13mths and one who cannot 1.5yrs he is simply to heavy. All my birds are full flight so i see often what they are capable of, my one drake and duck leave the penned area daily(it's a 5ft fence)
