Can peacocks mate with other birds and produce off spring?

    This may sound stupid, but I was wondering if a peacock could mate with another bird, turkey or chicken and have babies. I have looked and looked and can not really find an answer.

    There are several examples among the threads, but they have been known to mate with turkeys and guinea fowl. I do believe that it has also been accomplished via AI

    Hybrids are always ugly ... in principle we like to keep beautiful birds!

    ive seen guinea and peafowl mixed..they look not normal...so keep things separate...ive also seen chicken and pheasant birds as well..weird combo

    I've had peafowl with chickens and incubated eggs and nothing weird happened.
