Can RIR chicks be dark reddish brown and yellow?

The bin marked RIR at tractor supply today had the cutest chicks but instead of being reddish brown all over some of the chicks were brownish red on top with very contrasting yellowish white on bottom. Never seen any like that before. Very definitive contrasting colors? I'm just curious if Rhode Island reds sometimes look like this as chicks?Are there any other breeds that look this way? Anyone Know?Wish I had my camera...

Yes RIR chicks are a dark yellow with little spots on their wings as babies. They are TOO CUTE!!!!

Actually these chicks are distinctly a darker brown color on top (almost chocolate)and yellow on the bottom -I've never seen any like them before. I may go back today and buy them but I am still trying to find a picture "like" them on - line somewhere. They just don't look like RIR's but the lady at TSC said they were. Could they be mixed up? Sometimes I wonder about their expertise
