My question is can pure Silki chickens have gold colored eyes? I have 4 that I bought as 2 day old chicks. Both the red and the buff have gold eyes. My blue and partridge have all standard appearance.

Welcome to BYC! Silkies should have dark eyes.
Are your Silkies young? Maybe their eyes will darken with age?

They are 11 weeks old now. I know some breeds change color. I have tried researching it but I can't find anything on the eyes.

Lighter eyes are common with some buffs, but it is not to standard.

"Pure" is a funny word in the poultry world. Standard bred means they are bred to the standard.

If the Standard calls for a certain eye color, certain leg color, certain comb, and so on and so on, but the bird shows "wrong" features for the breed, it is a poor example of the breed.

Anyone serious about breeding to the Standard should invest in their own Standard of Perfection, the book of books, the bible of breeds. These are available from the American Poultry Association.

There really is no other way.
