Can some help us with this breed? I think its a mix

Does anyone know what this breed might be? A friend gave him to us. He's very tame and friendly and takes good are of his girls Any help would be appreciated.

He's a mix, mixed enough no specific breed stands out. I was thinking red sex link, but is his tail really that blue/grey color? How pretty!

Yes its that color, its like a dark blue with speckles
