I would super appreciate any feedback here. I am new at the chicken thing and these are my first. They made babies as well so I am trying to figure out what I am dealing with.

    Thank you,

the parents look like crosses. So you would have crossed babies as well.

Pretty birds, whatever they are! Are they bantam size?

Is the rooster's comb cut or what shape is it?

Quote:It is kind of choppy looking. I will take some pictures and add that. Would it help knowing what those look like?

The very small chickens are known as Bantams, and the larger chickens are Large Fowl. Basically. The whole look of the chicken can help find the breed, but you never really know if it pure or a cross from some people or places. You have to look at the size, comb, leg color, stature, feathers. Stuff like that.

His comb looks to be dubbed (cut), that or it was frost bit. Probably some type of Old English Bantam cross. The mother looks like she has Old English and/or Sebright Bantam.

Quote:It's frost bit, I didn't know what I could do to help that last winter. Thank you for the idea's cause I had no clue where to start. The momma has feathers on her feet too. Don't know if that means anything.
