I'm very need at this....
with the black legs it could be a weird silkie mix?
Was it from a hatchery? Can we get a little background info? The picture didn't show up for me, either.. LOL.. I wanna help but I can't..
Murray McMurray threw in a rare bird with our order of 25, biggest bird in the coop.
Here is the baby picture, the day they arrived
I doubt its a silkie mix. No foot/leg feathers, no 5 toes. Maybe an EE or Americauna mix (furry cheeks)?
cluckthis do you know what type of chick that is?
Nope, they threw it in! Speckled Sussex was one thought but not sure. We ordered all females so our luck it's a boy.
looks like an oeg or pheonix to me some kind of duckwing can't tell with the lighting and not a face shot but that's the closest i can think of going by the pic. definately not a silkie and i don't think SS either but i haven't seen to many of those babies.
They both look like EE's to me
Well I can tell from the picture that it doesnt have a single comb. I would look at MM site or catalog and see what breeds they offer as the "rare chick" and narrow down your options there?
