I have 4 Silkies around 9 and half weeks old and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the sex of them?

(Godzilla) Godzilla I think is a roo but I'm not 100% sure, he bullies the others by grabbed their neck skin

Hi and welcome to BYC. I'd suggest posting your question on the "What breed or gender is this?" forum for expert advice.

Silkies are extremely difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age and sometimes not till they lay or crow. I would bet that Godzilla is a roo and I wonder if he was been "treading" the feathers off of some of their backs. They are much too young to be bred., and I suggest you pen them up away from him.

Thanks, but i have two questions. What does "Treading" mean and what will happen if i dont lock him away from the others
