Can someone show me a speckled sussex egg

    They are lovely eggs - I had some a while ago to hatch.

    a lovely pinkish brown color.

    [​IMG] That sounds nice Wildsky. I have a girl that will lay around the middle of September so I'm hoping someone will have a picture so I'll be able to recognize it.

    My girl lays one that's cream colored, almost white. No brown eggs for her. She came out of some light tan ones.

    Here's an unusual way to show you...these are SS eggs hatching:

    All eggs were from the same flock, but some were a little darker than others. I would say beige, some with a peach tint.
