Can someone tell me what kids of shots goats need?? It's hard to know what they've had or haven't had when they come from an auction. [IMG]

I know goats are bad with tetnus. I'm not a goat person yet, but plan on getting a pair of Alpine goats. I'll watch this thread to see what everyone says!

CD&T is about the only vaccine they need
Any other "shots" would be for illnesses

Any feed store would have it. The dosage would be right on the bottle, or you could always get it from your vet.

Your feed store carries goat vaccine? I'm jealous! My feed store does not carry CD/T for goats. [IMG] I had to order mine from Jeffers. Thank goodness I needed some other stuff to make the shipping charge worthwhile. Although, they do have a neat little insulated cooler that was only $3.00. That along with some ice packs and my vaccine was still cool by the time I received it.[IMG] DH is going to be using the cooler as a lunch box! [IMG]

Quote:Well... like I said, I don't have my goats yet, so I certainly could be wrong, but I'm almost certain I've seen it. But I live in a pretty rural area where there is a lot of goats, I don't know if that makes a difference???

$3.00 for a lunch sack is not a bad deal [IMG]
