    There's no such thing as a "Americana". It's a spin-off name that people (or hatcheries) use to sell mongrel/mutt/crossbred birds, more commonly known as Easter Eggers. The point is so that people are tricked into believing they are purebred Ameraucanas.

    You're birds are EasterEggers, not Ameraucanas.

    Judging from their color, they are both pullets - but better pics won't hurt! [​IMG] I love the color on the second girl.

    Those are both Easter Eggers. You can only get an Ameruacana's from a breeder
    Farm stores and hatcheries sell Easter Eggers if you go to the breed section on the home page you can see the difference.
