Can the turkey fryer be used again?

For actual food? Is it easy enough to clean up? What if we wanted to use it for a thanksgiving day turkey to eat, can we still use it even though we have cleaned chickens with it?

I use my pot for "actual food" just scrub it out throughly and it will be fine.

I usually rinse my pot with bleach solution after I wash it so that I know it has been sanitized. I use my pressure canner, so I want to be sure it is really clean before using it for canning.

Plus I would think at the temperature you are cooking the turkey at the very slight risk is nullified due to the heat killing the bacteria.
