Can this be a double yolker? Today is Day #8. I have never seen two dots in an egg before. Is is possible to both eyes? It is a large egg, Light Brahma.

I am not replying to my post to bump it becuase I know that isn't allowed. I don't want to get banned. [IMG] But I do hope there is someone who can look at this pic and tell me if they have seen this in their candled hatching eggs. If it is I need to decide whether to try to hatch it or discard it now. It may be nothing but I am too new at this to know what to do.

Anyone out there know? Cynthia, I read your 43 page post from 2007 looking for clues as to what you saw in your candled double yolker. But couldn't find anything. I hope you replaced your camera since then! [IMG] I have googled my fingers off looking for pictures of candled double yolkers about a week into incubation but can't find any.

    Thanks,

    Mary

I don't know if it's a double yolker or not, but it does look strange. Hopefully someone with more experience will reply.

Keep incubating it! Twin chicks are cool!

It's probably each eye - I can post a link to an embryo - but I'm not sure it's OK to post.

I would keep incubating it. I have only hatched 1 double yoker.
