Can this EE possibly be a male?

We ordered pullets but my kids are hoping there's a roo in the mix. Could this be one? [IMG] these are taken at about 6 weeks old. The flash went off on most of the-the comb is not that light colored in real life.

Here are the other two EEs in the batch. Both have tiny combs compared to the other one but I know the combs can vary on these.

eta: these two are quite a bit smaller than the other one.

Quote:6 weeks. It's in the OP but probably should have put it on a separate line. I also edited the 2nd post to mention that the other two are quite a bit smaller.

Given the comb, the rather largish legs, the splotchy coloration, and the intensity of the red that is starting to come in over the back, shoulders, and wings, I think it might be a roo.

Quote:Are you sure she's a pullet? That's a mighty big red comb and intense red over the wings, back, and shoulders for an 8 week old pullet.

Not unfortunate! We want it to be a roo. We live out in the country so we can have whatever we want (no neighbors within crowing distance).
