Can too much fruit cause a hen to stop laying??

I heard that giving your hens too much fruit can cause them to slow down or stop laying eggs altogether. Is this true??

Too much of anything that can throw the overall nutritional state of the bird can cause an impact on production.

I am not sure how much is too much as I am new at this but this is a pic of the container I give them almost filled every day with a variety of snacks for 4 birds. It is 8 1/2 X 6 in
Is this ok? too much?

Too much. Treats should be limited to 10 percent of their overall diet. Beside throwing off their nutrition, too many treats can make them gain too much weight. If you want to spoil them, give them a few hours of supervised free range time.

Treats are ok but the main part of there diet needs to be a balanced layer feed
