Hi, our family purchased our first chickens a few weeks ago and we are new to the hobby, but we are very knowledgeable. Anyways, the week that we got our chickens, we found out that our 7 week old Ameraucana had Coccidiosis and died a few hours after we found out. We have had the chickens drinking water with corid, and also the medicated feed. We did that for 5 days. It has been two days since we switched them back to their regular diet, and I was wondering if we can eat our eggs now. We have 1 twenty-three week old hen that is laying, but we threw out the eggs from when she was eating the medication food/drink. Thank you!

(Our Ameraucana's temporary name was "Hawkeye" because she very much resembles a hawk and also after the character from Marvel's Avengers. We had only had her for a few days, so we hadn't picked a girly name yet for her lol)

The eggs are safe to eat.
